When I am quiet and sedate
And with expectation wait,
I know the Lord will speak to me
And show me things I need to see.
If I do not wait on Him
My vision will be “off” or dim.
I want to be within His will.
I know I’ll hear Him when I’m still.
Quietness brings peace of mind.
In these times we are “refined”.
Time we spend before the Lord
Will always bring a rich reward.
