Humility is beautiful...
Peaceful, kind and very mild,
Free from arrogance and strife,
Gentle as a little child.
Without it we would have blurred sight,
Causing us to be quite slack.
In our soul we would have "blight",
Of caring there would be a lack.
Humility will love and serve
With gratefulness and heartfelt joy,
Bringing light and new-found hope,
Even as a saving buoy.
