We must be guarded lest "enemy" ploy
Would come in to rob us of all our joy.
He works to deceive with confusion and lies,
And that which he offers will come in disguise.
He wants to destroy us but really cannot,
For God will expose him and his wicked plot.
As we "stand watch" and we stay in the Word,
He cannot cause our thoughts to be blurred.
His tactics are subtle and may not seem bad,
But to all of his plans a snare he will add.
We do not have to put up with his "stuff".
In prayer we can stop him. "Enough is enough!"
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."
I Peter 5:8 KJV
