As we serve, God fills our cup,
And in His time we are raised up,
But we must start at the beginning.
Shortcuts do not lead to "winning".
Serving in the little ways
Is a most important phase.
Learning here to be content
Is preparation time well-spent.
If we're patient step-by-step
The Lord will give us needed "prep".
We'll grow in wisdom and in grace
As we are in His perfect pace.
"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time."
