We should not discard the past
In favor of the "new".
That which stood the test of time
We should savor and review.
Let us weave our long-taught truths
Into a pattern for today.
Let us gather up this beauty,
Lest "progress" rob it all away.
Let us always reverence
The wisdom of the past,
And keep a strong foundation
In God's tenets... which will last.
