Two thousand six is history,
Two thousand seven now awaits
With bright new opportunities
And many "open gates"!
Let's collect our energies
And gather up our resource,
Then march right into this new year,
Set to run our course!
God will chart our path for us
And add to us new skill.
We can accomplish much for Him
As we move into His will.
Expectancy will draw us forth,
For God has plans which will excite.
We only need to be His vessels
And let our hearts His flame ignite.
