A fool has "foot-in-mouth" disease,
For there his shoe will fit with ease.
Pride will cause him to "spout off",
And precious wisdom he will scoff.
He thnks he knows an awful lot
But only proves what he is not.
He does not try to change or learn,
Nor for knowledge does he yearn.
He's content the way he is.
The way of wisdom is not his.
Pride is really not too "cool",
For it has made of him a fool!
"In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride..."
