It's good to have a "resting place",
A place of deep retreat,
Where we escape from busyness
And stillness is replete.
From daily "drain" and wear and tear
It's wise to take a needed break
To ponder and to re-affirm
The next step we should take or make.
Our anchor is our "resting place",
Where we return and find release.
In that place we are renewed.
In prayer God brings us His sweet peace.
"Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings wll I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me."
