Veterans are a special class
Who give of self and far surpass
Ordinary daily call.
To guard our land they give their all.
Today we pay them high esteem.
May the Lord their lives redeem
From weariness and battle scars.
In our sight they're truly stars!
They have given us their best.
Heroes all, they've stood the test.
Precious are the ones who serve.
Highest honors they deserve.
