Times of prayer on bended knee
Are times of sweet simplicity,
Hearing what God has to say,
Finding guidance for each day.
He will cover and protect
The lives and times of His elect.
Those who love Him walk in joy
And all His counsel will employ.
He pours out His love and peace
And from His goodness gives increase.
When we listen to His voice
He gives reason to rejoice.
"I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved."
