Beware, My children, lest you become jaded,
Lest your minds and thoughts are plundered and raided
By worldly concepts which have little worth.
They creep in so subtly and slyly seek berth.
You may not spot them with your own first glance.
Be very guarded, so you don't take chance.
The Word is the filter and screening you need
So you will have wisdom to spot "worldly" seed.
Jadedness wearies and misleads bright hope.
It cripples clear vision and wrong doors will ope.
The flow of the Spirit this bad pest will clog.
It's spiritual darkness... an unwelcome smog!
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God."
