In times of sadness, loss or sorrow,
God helps us to face tomorrow.
When our eyes with tears are blurred
He is there to undergird.
For He is able to sustain,
To take away our fear and pain.
He brings comfort, rest and peace
And from sorrow brings release.
He is strong when we are weak.
His love and friendship gently speak.
He will hide us 'neath His wing
Till we again can laugh and sing.
