Thank You, Lord, for Godly men
Who stand in place and are not moved,
Who work for righteousness and truth
Even when they're disapproved.
Evil loiters in the wings,
Watching, waiting to take o'er,
But men of boldness on alert
Drive these evils from our door.
These are those who toil and pray
That we might still hear freedom's ring,
Mighty men who don't give up
But to God's righteousness will cling.
