The light of God resides in His people. When light shines into the darkness, truth and love go forth where only emptiness has been. His light brings hope. His light brings change.
When a child of God speaks, it may become the only ray of hope in someone's life. It may even be the difference between life and death for that person.
When a child of God lets his light shine, it may be an example to another who is struggling to find a pattern for life.
Being light in a darkened world is a very great privilege, for receiving His light is to receive His very best.
"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
