Blessed is the "first responder"...
Who doesn't hesitate or ponder,
But rushes in to meet a need,
With selflessness to do a deed."
These are those with hearts to serve,
And heroes' honor they deserve.
In our sight, they will stand tall,
Some in memory, one and all!
When danger lurks and fires rage
With strength they rush to "center stage".
Today with gratefulness we pause
To bring them much heartfelt applause!
