When we go through events which just leave us reeling,
It is then that we learn a new depth of feeling.
And that which we've suffered will not be all loss.
Our loss is redeemed by Christ's blood on the cross.
We gain understanding of how others suffer
And learn how God's love is our most-needed "buffer".
Life-changing events can turn our direction
And totally change our thoughts and perception.
New levels of healing are birthed from our pain.
Precious indeed are the insights we gain.
When events in our lives peace and joy overturn,
We are made richer by that which we learn.
"For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
