Drawing nigh unto the Lord
Will bring us insight and reward.
Drawing near we hear His voice...
A wondrous reason to rejoice!
Who are we... compared to God?
And yet in Him by grace we're shod.
He Who listens to our prayers
Rules o'er all, but truly cares.
"Listening" becomes a joy
As He gives wisdom to employ.
He, indeed, is our best friend,
On Whose voice we can depend.
"The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them."
