Doing Your Best

No matter how tiny the error that you make,
To just let it stand is a real mistake.
Make it right then, before you go on,
Before opportunity shifts and is gone.

For that which is "finished" with error at it's core
Will always have flaw which you cannot ignore,
Disturbing your peace so you cannot rest.
This memory of error is an unhappy guest.

That which is done, but not done quite right,
Won't have as much beauty or bring you delight.
If you show diligence and then follow through,
That which you've done will bring much joy to you.

"...Whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."
I Corinthians 10:31 KJV
