A birthday cake will signal one more year...
A new one to explore as the old one shuts it's door,
Reflection of the times which were so dear
And anticipation of good times in store.
A year is a great gift... a precious prize to hold,
A chance to make a difference or to soar,
Adventure as you watch each day unfold,
And accomplish more than you have done before.
If you give some thought to what you'll do
The days won't just slip past without import.
God might show you something which is new.
Enter in with joy, for a year can be quite short.
