Two Of A Kind

A person who meddles
Affects one like nettles.
They think they "belong",
But their actions are wrong!

Gossips are worse,
With tales to disburse.
They take what they hear
To spread far and near!

Both stir up tension,
Strife and dissension.
Neither is pretty,
Nor even is witty.

Of these two beware!
Your business don't share.
Without tales to weave
They soon will take leave.

"He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears."
Proverbs 26:17 KJV

"Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth."
Proverbs 26:20 KJV
