On that all-important date
When you stand at Heaven's gate,
Will the gate be open wide?
Or will you sadly be denied?
We don't know the time and place
When we shall see Him face-to-face,
But if you know our precious Lord
You'll receive a sure reward.
Jesus died to pay the cost...
That all mankind should not be lost.
To all who in His grace abide
Heaven's gates are open wide.
