When God gives birth to something
We must guard it carefully.
We should feed and nurture
That new birth prayerfully.
New birth is so tender
And sometimes very small.
As we grow to understand it
It may become a "call".
God gives gifts so liberally
And plants His seeds in hearts.
As we cling to what He gives
His grace He then imparts.
And suddenly we're able
To accomplish something new
Because God gave us graciously
A gift we could pursue.
"Every good and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."
James 1:17 KJV
