The blessings of a friendship warm
Bring joys which offset trial and storm.
It's laughter and bright treasure "store"
Are as a cheerful reservoir...
Of memories which bring much joy
And to one's spirit are a "buoy".
Friendship brings ability
To smile and have tranquility.
How rich the bond in friendship's gift!
How sweet it's loving, gentle "lift"...
Like a fragrant potpourri
Or pretty, lilting melody...
Bringing many smiles within,
Causing one to have a grin.
For friendship rests within the heart
