Blame Game

Some people have a game that they play.
When something goes wrong you won't hear them say,
"This was my fault, I really did err."
They'd rather shift blame, which causes a snare.

They will not see truth but hide behind "sham".
They defend their position and won't face "exam".
They'll give you six reasons just why they are right
And will not accept it if their fault you cite.

This is the "blame game"..... it causes much grief.
And relationships suffer, in want of relief.
It's best to face truth and admit when we're wrong,
To not play this game and problems prolong.

Ego and laziness, fear and distrust
Are possible causes which need to adjust.
For this is a "game" in which you can't win.
It's not a good pattern to even begin.

"A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it....."
Proverbs 26:28 KJV

"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall."
Proverbs 16:18 KJV
