In the stillness of the morn,
Lord, I long to hear Your voice.
When I hear that gentle sound
You cause my spirit to rejoice.
Your presence is a sweet oasis,
Set apart and so profound,
A place of peace and deep retreat
Where perfect love and joy abound.
Stir within My heart, O Lord.
Let me be refreshed in You.
Change me deep within, I pray,
My heart and spirit to renew.
You make me to be “complete”
As I choose to wait on You.
You’re my joy and inspiration.
You give me a fresh new view.
