When evil tries to enter in,
We must guard to keep it out.
When we see its sneaky guile
We should pull out every “sprout”!
We must not let it seed doubt
Or cause anxiety to grow.
We don’t need to heed that voice
Or let it push us to and fro.
When we know the Word within
Evil cannot find a door.
As it is filtered through the Word
It is exposed and is no more!
