Patience is a trying test.
We cannot learn it in a hurry.
It's not easy to "relax"
And trust in God instead of worry.
Patience saves us much "ado"
And teaches us to calmly wait.
For as we lean upon the Lord
He keeps us from a "frazzled" state.
Should our waiting be long-term
We learn to rest in God's embrace,
And we will find a deep dimension
Of His caring and His grace.
"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be
perfect and entire, wanting nothing."
