Some folks seem to be upbeat
And choose to not accept defeat.
Because they’re cheerful they bring light
And put all gloominess to flight.
To be around them is a joy,
And some days they are as a “buoy”.
Their attitudes are joy-inspiring.
Joy like theirs is worth acquiring.
Don’t just let life bog you down.
Choose to smile instead of frown.
Overcome the daily “blues”.
Frowns and gloominess refuse!
