When we have a grateful heart
Life will have a brighter view.
God adds focus to our lives
And our perspective will be new.
As we focus on God's beauty
We won't "center" on our needs.
Joy will increase in our days
And grow as precious flowering seeds.
We have opportunity
To know God's goodness every day.
If we'll remember to "look up"
Our grateful heart will pave the way.
"Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name."
