Lending a hand is a wonderful gift...
Love from the heart, another to lift.
Love and caring may mean some work
And giving of time (which some people shirk).
Helping a senior to go for a walk...
Or time with a child as they share and talk,,,
Seeing a need and offering aid,,,
But never considering being repaid...
Kindness and love will shine as the sun
To brighten a life by a job you have done.
It brings joy within to help out another,
A neighbor or friend, a sister or brother.
