What is birthed within the heart
Is what our thoughts and words impart.
If love resides there, love will flow.
If joy resides, a smile will show.
Peace within will soothe and heal.
Kindness... goodness will reveal.
Patience learned will smile and wait.
Gentleness is a wonderful trait.
What is in the heart will speak.
Without good fruit it’s words are bleak.
A fruit-filled heart is full of treasure.
Good fruit is its special “measure”.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,
faith, meekness, temperance...”
