How wonderful when earth awakens
From its dreary winter rest.
And Spring adorns the landscape...
She always does her very best.
She sponsors in us fresh awareness
Of God’s caring and His joy.
She “pulls out all the stops” for us
As she responds to His employ.
Joy bursts forth within the soul
As we observe her glorious gift.
Thoughts of “new beginnings” stir.
Her beauty brings a needed “lift”.
“O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!”
