“Darkness” has a smiling face
And wants in us to find a place.
By deceit it charms and woos.
To be tempted is bad news.
If we sometimes are not sure
Whether what we see is pure,
We should be on guard and pray.
Seek the Lord... don’t be blasé.
Evil threads its subtle way
All through society today.
Be alert to recognize
And expose its ugly guise.
