Take a small step forward
Into something bright and new.
Make a choice to move into
What God would have you do.
Leave the baggage of regret
And unforgiveness far behind,
For these will hinder that new path
And cause you to be somewhat “blind”.
When you’ve taken that first step,
Trust the Lord to lead you on.
The needless weights you’ve carried
Will give way to having His baton.
Carry it with fervor
God’s goodness to proclaim.
Your life will have new brightness
And bring glory to His name.
