Let all our words be measured
And the things we speak be treasured.
Thoughtful words will have impact
To which others will react.
Let all our words bring blessing
And never be distressing,
For many folks are weary
And need a word that's cheery.
Gracious words will touch a heart
And precious benefits impart.
When we choose our words with care
Someone's life we may "repair".
