God's healing process may take time
But is a blessed upward climb.
In answer to our many prayers
He will peel off "layers and layers".
He will cause our eyes to see
That from these layers" we can be free.
He erases stain and blot
And even "ills" which we forgot.
Jesus' healing touch is real.
There is no "ill" He cannot heal.
His refreshing brings new hope
For that with which we couldn't cope.
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases, Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's."
