When a conflict will not cease,
Oft the "high road" brings release.
The high road means to rise above
The factors which would push and shove.
Refusing to become involved
Will cause most conflicts to be solved.
Choosing peace and love instead
Will weave a soft and healing thread.
When unfair treatment tries to rule
The Lord will help us to stay "cool".
He will lead us through each "test".
In Him we have a blessed rest.
