When God's people turn away
And from His loving presence stray...
When He does not have their ear,
Surely God must shed a tear.
In Jesus, God has given all,
And to each has given call.
When we answer to His voice
He is blessed we've made that choice.
Some folks make Him wait awhile,
But when they come His heart will smile.
Some will wait for many years.
O'er these our God sheds many tears.
He desires our fellowship,
With blessings our lives will equip.
When we love God, all Heaven cheers!
We bring joy instead of tears.
