The counsel of the Word is a safe and balanced way
To sort out all our problems and to save us much dismay.
When we don't have answers, seeking counsel is as gold.
Then the answers which we need will carefully unfold.
Prudent thought and wisdom help to make direction clear,
Avoiding traps and obstacles which sometimes could appear.
How much time and money and unhappiness we save.
For counsel from God's precious Word will all our pathways pave.
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
