Many are troubled, many perplexed.
Many by worries are burdened or vexed.
Darkness o'erwhelms and even brings fright
Until they find Jesus and live in His light.
He can transform a picture of gloom
And give bright perspective to offset all doom.
Yes, there are times when grief fills our cup,
But we will find comfort if we'll just look up.
We are not helpless... In Christ we have hope.
He always will strengthen and help us to cope.
Do not be troubled or even be sad,
For Jesus is able to make your heart glad.
