The joy of the Lord
Brings smiles and gladness
To offset life's trials
And shield us from sadness.
His joy is our strength
Through thick and through thin,
For He gives us courage
And peace deep within.
We can rise up
From pain and despair
And conquer our challenges
By faith and prayer.
He is our sunshine
For times which are "gray".
He is our source
Of joy for each day.
