If circumstances pull you down,
Take the "high road"... do not frown.
Choose to smile and laugh and pray.
In the doldrums do not stay!
We can bless when others curse,
And past confusion can traverse.
Pleasant words we choose to speak
Can turn the tide when all looks bleak.
We don't need to wail and cry
When to the Lord we can draw nigh.
We can rise above the fray
By staying positive each day.
