Let me be a candle bright,
A beacon shining in the night,
Reaching out with joy and hope
To save a soul or help one cope.
I may be a tiny link,
But often bigger than I think,
For some may only need my prayers
Or some to know another cares.
Let my beacon ne'er go out
But beam your love and light about.
Through the distance, through the night,
Keep me shining, keep me bright.
