Patience

Patience is learned in the trying times.
It cannot be learned from a book.
But as we walk forward one step at a time,
In hindsight we'll know what it took.

As we're forbearing in our circumstance
And ask God to show us the way,
He may not remove that which stretches us so
But give us endurance to stay.

We never will learn much if all things go well,
But facing a challenge will cause us to grow.
Patience will come as we daily trust God.
He then will help us and His grace bestow.

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed abgout with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us."
Hebrews 12:1 KJV
