When we are hurting and cry out with pain,
The comfort of God, who can explain?
For when we have need He comes alongside
To lend strength and balance in which to abide.
His presence brings ongoing comfort and hope,
Enabling us to once again cope.
How great His compassion and unfailing love,
That merciful touch we need from above.
