If many pathways you have tried
And felt your footsteps start to slide,
Ask the Lord to be your guide.
On stable ground you will abide.
He will make your footsteps sure
And save you from a path that’s poor.
You’ll not need to make detour.
The path He gives will be secure.
To the “down-side” say “Farewell”,
For on the “UP-side” you will dwell.
Your life will truly start to gel.
The Lord will cause you to do well.
