Prayer is needed in our nation
To keep us on our firm foundation.
Lord, how much we need Your light
To save us from our error and blight!
Let men bow their knee in prayer
And bravely all Your truths declare.
Let men seek You in this hour.
We truly need Your strength and power.
Let us hold Your standard high.
Let many hearts to You draw nigh.
Forgive us, Lord, of all our wrong.
Help us once again be strong.
