With new plans we contemplate
Sometimes God will make us wait...
To think them over for “a spell”
And take some time to let them gel.
It’s always wise to not “rush in”
So we don’t fail or have chagrin.
God may shed some extra light
And give us careful oversight.
Wait and pray till you have peace.
His timing will bring you release.
Should He say, “This plan don’t do”,
Praise Him then for freeing you.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
