A cheery word can change a day
For one who's feeling quite blase'.
Spread some joy where'er you go,
For joy is a good seed to sow.
Be contagious with your cheer,
For laughter is so good to hear.
When you choose to be "upbeat",
For others you become a treat.
Others soon will smile back,
And laughter then will not have lack.
By your cheer you've filled a need.
You've sown happiness indeed!
