Jealous folks just are not happy,
And sometimes they become quite "snappy".
They seem to want what is not theirs.
Their attitude sends up big flares.
They never seem to have enough.
Their envy covets others' stuff.
They are really not content.
Until they "win", they will lament.
Sometimes they will run roughshod
O'er others to gain accolade.
If they're to be satisfied
They must set selfishness aside.
This mindset needs some overhaul,
For in God's time He blesses all.
Rejoice with those who have the best!
Be glad for those whom God has blessed!
"You shall not covet your neighbor's house, your neighbor's wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's."
